Carrie operates primarily from a cognitive behavioral/ solution focused model, while integrating other therapeutic models as needed. As a Christian Therapist, she implements faith based fundamentals in therapy if the client desires it. Carrie maintains respect for differing views and an ethical viewpoint in which the therapist's views are not imposed on the client while providing counseling for individuals, couples and families. Carrie has added a therapy dog in training to the practice, so Millie the GSD comes to the office to love on you some days.
Abi integrates a blend of therapeutic frameworks including cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, solution-focused, and strengths-based approaches to support individuals in their journey towards healing and growth. She firmly believes that while trauma can deeply impact our lives, it does not need to dictate our futures. Her approach is rooted in LGBTQ-affirming principles and the conviction that each person is the expert on their own life. As a therapist, her role is to provide empathetic support, gently guide the therapeutic process, and collaborate with clients to cultivate effective coping mechanisms that foster resilience and empowerment. Together, you will work towards uncovering strengths, building confidence, and achieving meaningful change.
At Renewed Mind Therapy, we are committed to supporting you at every stage of your journey towards healing and growth. Our goal is to walk alongside you, providing compassionate care and expert guidance as you navigate life's challenges.
We believe in the transformative power of renewing the mind, fostering healthier thought patterns, and cultivating positive behavioral habits. Through our personalized approach, we aim to empower you to overcome obstacles and discover a renewed sense of hope and healing in your life.
With Renewed Mind Therapy, you can expect a safe and nurturing environment where your well-being is our priority. Together, we will work towards achieving meaningful and lasting change, fostering a brighter and more fulfilling future for you.
