My Treatment Focus
I operate primarily from a cognitive behavioral/ solution focused model, while integrating other therapeutic models as needed. As a Christian Therapist, I implement faith based fundamentals in therapy if the client desires it. I maintain respect for differing views and an ethical viewpoint in which the therapist's views are not imposed on the client while providing counseling for individuals, couples and families. I have added a therapy dog in training to my practice, so Millie the GSD comes to the office to love on you some days.

Carrie Hand is the owner and therapist at Renewed Mind Therapy. Carrie is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1998.
